      Thanks Paul. Much fun doing this stuff. I have used this style on flyers inn the past, it can be quite catchy.

      Is this a variation on the Adamski effect?
      It seems to indicate extra movement to the images above.
      Better a full bottle in front of me
      than a full frontal lobotomy.

        Not the same as Adamski. That effect usually stretches the backgrounds and overlays it with the foreground subject. I wrote an action using the Adamski Effect if you want to have a play. It comes in the FUN STUFF action set on my web site HERE:

          No time like the present Hans. Download my action and see if it works. I just did one and here is the result:

          You can change the amount of "Stretch" by increasing the distance in the Vertical Motion Blur in the Vertical Blur smart object.

        I like the effect. But can you make the blur go horizontal instead of vertical?

          Absolutely! The effect is done using 2 x motion blur layers. Just change the direction on those layers. If you use my action you'll see the group that contains the layers.

          That's a completely different way to how I do it and he creates a different look by having the subject and foreground all in focus.
