You can use any appropriate software to blend images into an HDR image. I used Photoshop with HDR Efex Pro 2 (Nik).

This is the HDR - one of many effects available in the Nik plugin.

I disagree with that.
Yes in the days when that was current software Nik was one of the better HDR programs but that was many years ago even before Google purchased Nik. I always found that it was particularly poor with edge detail and often gave really excessive haloing of dark/light edges like where sky met land.
Software has advanced considerably since Nik was a current product. I currently own the latest DXO version of HDR Efex Pro plus up to date versions of Lightroom and PS and it is a long time since I used HDR Efex to create a HDR image. The HDR algorithms baked into the Adobe Camera RAW engine that underlies both LR and PS are really very good these days and take advantage of all the AI that is now in software to produce really very good one click results that do not have that "I am a HDR image" look.
