Agreed - esp when you don't want a silhouette effect

It is Alan. This was done on a JPG image. I load all my images into Camera Raw first (raw and jpg) and I'm quite amazed at how much jpg capturing has improved over recent years. I can get excellent results with raw adjustments. The raw files are probably better for commercial quality but I'm happy with using jpg files for now for internet display. When I was being paid for shoots, mainly wedding and portraiture, I always used raw but now I'm happy with JPG. Cheers.
