Tells a story. I like the look of the sky there as well but it looks a little obvious

Thanks Hans, it was very late in the night when I decided to do a Luminar sky replacement. Very sloppy, will revisit the image when the eyes aren't so tired.

Nice perspective and a very good title. I didn’t notice the sky until I read Hans’ comment - I thought it was distant hills. I prefer the original version

Thanks Alan, I'm glad that you liked the original. I think that I may just remove the power pole in the top right and leave it at that.

      Last edit, I promise

Removed power pole and applied a subtle graduated ND filter to the sky using NIK Color Efex Pro 4.

I just love this John. Last one probably the best. Make a good B&W, what do you reckon?

Just playing John, B&W sometimes suits images that have that old look about them.

I think this works well in black and white, as it adds a level of abstraction, increasing the impact of the perspective and curves. You do lose the contrast between the used and unused rails though.

I agree Alan. The B/W works well, but the "less traveled road" loses its impact. Both images work in their own right.
