I like the contrast Greg and the patterns in the smooth water but obviously you were dealing with speckled light. Some of the overexposed areas detract from the image I think.
I would like to see this with a slower shutter.

Hi Greg, I like this and think it is quite effective. While the waves tell the viewer what it is, there is enough distortion in the reflections to give it an abstract quality.
