Lovely processing and composition Alan. But,........ I reckon the poodles should be seen more. More detail. Maybe they could be left 'unprocessed - like selective color shots used to be - so we could see them better.
By the way, I showed Bella, and she said this shot is rubbish. All she can see is a white blob and a black blob. Please don't be offended Alan. Bella is a very harsh critic. She is still working on her installations with Max, and they are disappointed that they couldn't have an exibition for the Adelaide Festival. At present, they are exploring the idea of Gesamtkunstwerk as applied to a random placement of objects, gathered from a rubbish bin, in a three dimensional space.Charles
My indecision is final, I think.

Thank you Charles for you considered comments and suggestion.
I found the IQ of the iPhone shot at night, of a pure black poodle, left a lot to be desired, so rather than trying to bring out non existent detail, I relied on the old adage, "If you can't hide it, make it a feature', by turning it into a semi-abstract. Possibly I should have given it a grander title, 'Colored Cushions with Canines 2'?
Or made it even more abstract?
Also, in retrospect, I probably should have left out any reference to dogs and poodles in the title and let the viewers interpret it.
And Charles, with all due respect to the art appreciation abilities of poodles, I suspect they are on a par with those of a butterfly or peafowl (no need to show Bella this - poodles can still be very sensitive to criticism). Though I do find their project interesting - these two are working on something similar in our bedroom involving toilet rolls, tissues and tea bags - but I digress.
Like you, I find it easy to attribute human like qualities to our pets - eg love of fine piano music, filet mignon, gardening and beach walks eg. But we must resist.
I'll have to get back to this - the poodles are telling me it's time for a walk
