very inspiration Alan. We all tend to forget photography on "boring" wet days but as you have proven there are plenty of wonderful subjects available for those willing to look for them.

Wet city streets are a great subject IMO
Local hills [wish there were some here] and even high city buildings take on a different mood on rain days that can look brilliant in a photo. We just have to look.

lol we had 9mm in Mildura, although there was a bucket storm of 3" [70mm] near by. The first rain for many months.
