Uploading Images from a Hosting Site (COPY and PASTE a LINK METHOD).

Here are a few of the most popular free image hosting sites
Click on them to go to their websites.
    1. Imgur
    2. Google Photos
    3. Flickr
    4. Postimage

For this demonstration Flickr will be used.

To begin, select the channel (topic) to start your thread. (This example is using "Birds").

Next, click on "+ New Topic".

Type the title for your thread where you see the faded "Enter title". eg: "New Swans".
Type the description where you see the faded "Write something". eg: "Cygnet protecting Mum."
Press "return/enter" to place your cursor to the far left on a new line.

Open Flickr in your browser and navigate to the image you wish to post in your thread.
At the bottom of the photo, you will see the following symbols:

Click on the "Share Photo" symbol.

    Next, click on "BBCode".
Click in the area where you see the code. It should start with "[B][url=https://flic.kr/.....[/B]" or something similar.
With the code highlighted, right click it and select "Copy".

Now return to your new thread in Australian Photoholics and at the cursor on your new line, right click and select "Paste".
This will paste the code into your thread on a the new line.
You can edit the code (see below) to remove unwanted text so you only have the URL. URL is an abbreviation for 'Uniform Resource Locator' which is often referred to as a web address.

Click on "Preview" to see what your post will look like and "Post" to create your new thread.

This is what your new thread should look like in the forum after you "Post".
