A rare and unforgettable event. I'm an admin for The Shadows Rock N Roll Music Club here in Perth and on 22nd July we held a Charity Gala Concert to raise fundfs for the Channel 7 Telethon. As a special guest performer, we had the privilege of getting Hank Marvin, from the UK group "The Shadows", to perform some of his classic 60's hits. he performed for over an hour and was supported by our own local musicians (myself included) and it was a magical experience and huge success. Here's some shots I took on the night.

It just looked ordinary from the back of the hall but it took on a completely different affect when I sat on the mixing desk near the stage. It was quite mesmerizing - a bit psychedelic. It would make a great test pattern - a mobile version

Cheers Mark. The "Cliff" lookalike is Ron Fischer and he sings Cliff numbers at our monthly club nights.

Excellent shots Isac and it sounds like a wonderful event.

It was very memorable and brilliant night and a great honour to do my own set straight after Hank's set. We raised quite a large amount Telethon. It was a sell-out with only 270 tickets available. I designed the tickets to be kept as a souvenir and the crowd were very pleased with them. It was great to have a chat with Hank again after many years.

Thanks Sharon. An unforgettable night. I only took a few pics from the back of room so they were all zoomed and then cropped. No flash, so I thought the gear handle it all pretty well. I had to shoot with high ISO (3200) but it corrected well in PS.
