  • Hungarian Cowboys

They gave us quite a show on a working farm dressed in traditional garb.

Better a full bottle in front of me

Interesting shots and some good action Hans.

I like the action in the first shot but it has some veiling flare with subject in shade and bright background. I had a play with it. I didn't spend much time on it so it is a bit rough.

    In Photoshop:

    1. Shadows and highlights
    2. Nik Tonal Contrast in Color Efex to improve contrast
    3. Levels to remove gaps at each end of histogram
    4. Nik Pro Contrast in Color Efex for fine adjustment to contrast
    5. Curves on a selection of the rider to darken and add contrast
6 Final curves layer brighten overall

The quality still isn't good and I think I've been a bit too aggressive on the contrast but what do you think?

It does improve the image but I think the difference here is perception. We were sitting in a dust cloud from his first pass, the haze is actually dust. It therefore rings memory bells for me.

They do stir up the dust. Not modified at all as taken and shrunk. Click image for larger version

Great series of something we don't see here Hans. That 1st one and the one above would look better with some fiddling as you put it. I know you were showing the dust in the last but I couldn't resist a play so I could see some detail. Not perfect with such small images but had a crack

Not bad Isac have still got lots to convert from RAW. Later maybe. You can see all the dust accumulated on the lens on #4

good series here, you not associate cowboys in other countries but there you go.
reworked images look better too, in my eyes
      well done

They can obviously do with a tweak since that is the majority view. Before they go into the family album.
