  • An interesting art installation

I went along to a very interesting art installation today at Burnham Beeches in the Dandenong Ranges. It was by a street artist who goes by the name of Rone and took a year to complete.
It was not an easy project to photograph as tripods were not allowed and the lighting in some areas was quite dim. I would have loved to do some HDR there, but without a tripod it was just not possible. All the images have a very soft feel to them as that was how the artwork was presented (does that make sense).
All images shot with Canon 7D Mark II with Sigma 8-16 lens.

#4 This was a particularly difficult shot as the installation was behind glass and very difficult to eliminate reflections. The room is actually filled with water up to the windowsills, very interesting.

Looking at the video again I realised that I missed capturing so much. To be honest the exhibition was a bit overwhelming, so much to see and take in you really need more that one visit to comprehend it all.

I know what you mean John. I was surprised at how much there was to see when I visited the "Olde Days & Olde Ways" museum in Mannum S.A. I reckon I took 300 photos on the day - I didn't want to miss anything. I might post a few one day.
