Still culling and still finding unprocessed photos

An Angels concert at 'Twin Towns' (Tweed Heads) in 2011. Taken with the G11. all around 1600 ISO 1/125 f/2.8

Dave Gleeson, the lead singer from the hard rock band, the Screaming Jets replacing Doc Neeson who died in June this year, aged 67.

I did post some more photos way back - HERE. Gee it was a much busier Forum back then - ah, the good old days... sigh

Great set of shots Alan. "Gee it was a much busier Forum back then - ah, the good old days... sigh" I don't think it's the only one slowing down either. I've tried to encourage some locals to join but they seem to prefer things like facebook, viewbug etc where they get lots of warm hugs and no CC. I know I've learned more from receiving CC on forums than anywhere else.

      Thanks Gabby,

Having hugs and one's ego stroked is appealing - but as you say, if you want to learn and progress in Photography, FB is not the place to do it

I thoroughly agree with Gabby and FB may be a place to show your images but no one ever offers any CC at all, anything at all on FB is a really great photo. Ausph. helps to keep your feet firmly planted on the ground.

Just love how those stagehands know how to create dramatic light that gives great leading lines.
Lots to like about these. BW conversion could work with all these high contrast images.
The concert atmosphere is wonderfully demonstrated in 3. I think the colour works great in this. Just brilliant context with layers of people action and diagonal light.
A total different feel to number 8..I find this image very compelling and intimate. Totally draws me in.
Looks like it was an amazing concert. Thank you for sharing.

            Agree with all the above

Great series .... and yes, I have learnt heaps from fellow forum members - and still learning to really look at my photos before posting (thanks Gabby)
