  • Hilltop Hoods - Summernats 26

Concerts can be so damn hard and this one was no exception. Bright lights one second and near total darkness the next but still a lot of fun just the same despite the fact that I was probably the only person there who had no idea who the Hilltop Hoods were

Not sure if the EXIF detail is included (someone might need to let me know) but mostly shot in shutter priority, ISO up around 5000 and spot metering from memory.

    CC always welcome ...

Re: Hilltop Hoods - Summernats 26

If I were a teeny bopper and into the Hilltop Hoods (I actually don't mind their music), I would be saying to you can I buy them from you. Those images were what I would buy from a small shop in Kings Cross as a teenager and into Duran Duran. I still though the photos were exy and think they were like $5-10 in the 80's.

I like what you took especially #2 with his arms wide and interacting with the audience and look of joy on his face.

I think these are excellent shots, particularly knowing how difficult concert conditions are. Only reason I've heard of Hilltop Hoods is all of my sons are fans.
