I did my first ever wedding today. A very relaxed garden wedding in the country and the brief was simply "I'd like a few nice pics, nothing over the top".
Sounds easy, except the cloud cover vanished, the sun was low and intense and the setting had massive shadows everywhere with all the good angles occupied by trees, shrubs and guests.
I don't envy Pro Wedding Photographers one bit.
Still, I managed to get some good shots in and have a day or so of processing to do.
This wedding had a lot of family involvement as you can see in these pics.
