You call that a pen ?

These 2 pens were a rush job for someone I know. They are 50 caliber machine gun cartridges.
The cartridges I use have been fired already, the projectiles are new, 750 grain Hornady Super Max.
I clean them up and polish them, but don't take all the battle scars away, as you can see.
They have a Parker refill, and due to a transmission I fit inside, the projectile twists to extend and retract the refill.
The 2nd pic has a 30-06 cartridge to give an idea of size.

Great work Ironwood. They sort of get me all fired up!! You know, you've started a complete house search now - I have one of those pens made from a bullet and I now have to dig it up and give it a polish. I hope I still have it laying around somewhere.

Forgot to say, after you clean it up with some Brasso, put some paste wax on it, will keep it shiney longer.

It's not looking good Ironwood. I've searched high and low to no avail. I'll probably find it when I'm not looking for it
