I took my wife to historic Hartley after she had visited about 70 years previously as a child with her mother and grandmother.

#2 Around 1960. This bridge over the river Lett was on the main highway from Sydney to Bathurst I would have ridden over it on my 1957 Triumph Thunderbird on the way to the Bathurst bike races. It is in the remains of the village of Hartley. It will require another visit.

Excellent then and now set Hans, and very interesting to see the changes over that length of time.

The vehicle in #1 looks like a stretched limousine from the 1940s - I've never seen one quite like it.

What wonderful memories for you and your wife Hans. Such a delightful series of "through the ages".

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

        Thanks Gents.
And by taking new pictures hopefully some historian will find things of interest in the future.
