Strange branch

Saw this beautiful tree on my way back home from my photo walk, when I looked at my photos I noticed this strange little branch curling around.

Lovely to come across Sharon. Well photographed. It looks like some sort of vine is sharing the space with the tree. What's the tree?

Definitely Wisteria I have that plant not as mature as that. I remember reading they can get vey large and that there is one in China that covered a huge area. Ours flowered several times last season.
