  • Nankeen Night Heron

    I took these snaps through the reeds at the lake and could only get within 30 - 40 metres. I don't see these birds often so was pleased that it turned up. The IQ is not the best so cropping did take place.

    Well done to get a shot here Isac. While IQ is not the best #2 looks fine to me for a bird you rarely see. I think #3 is a crop too far but the main issue seems to be the OOF foreground reeds.

    I have never even seen one of these.

      Cheers Alan. As mentioned, the IQ was poor, that's why I posted in "Snapshots".
      It was just to show the bird at the lake which is a rare sight for me.
