I really like the shadows in the background, they contrast nicely with the "forget me knots". I think the flowers themselves could do with a touch of brightening up, just one man's opinion

The flowers are nicely highlighted against the dark background. I agree with Toddy that the foregound could be cropped. I think the flowers would stand out even more.

That's nice Greg. Doesn't have the same dark background and therefore not the same contrast as the first.

Thanks Toddy, I get what you mean but I think the shot loses a bit composition wise with the foreground gone.
