I used to do wood turning for a hobby. However injuries and wear & tear on my body suffered during my career as a fitter and turner (carpal tunnel/ulner nerve damage) forced me to give it up.
I apologise for the pretty ordinary images, they were taken before I fully understood things like composition, lighting, DOF etc. I thought it was all about the camera and so I purchased my first DSLR, a Canon 7D and thought my pictures would magically improve. How wrong can a person be? Thus began my journey into photography.
All photo's taken with a Konica Minolta Z20. While it had manual setting capability, it was very fiddly, so I just used Auto or Scene Select.
