3rd day on the new job and this happens right next to me.

Driving with the mast at full extension,hit the roof truss.

He was licensed,it was expired but he had one.

oops!!! I did a similar thing on a side loader ,I only bent steel "C" and got a verbal warning

The guy that did this was on his 3rd day too,he didn`t get a 4th.

All I can say Kevin is I'm glad you were next to it and not in front of it!! As an Industrial Safety Officer I wouldn't be giving him a 4th day either. That's a pretty stupid rookie move. QLD WH&S would have had a field day if they came out and asked for his training records, I deal with them pretty regularly and they don't muck around with things like that.

They came out yesterday,they will be taking action,but I don`t know what.The orange cone is where I was,reaching into the rack,I didn`t see him coming so couldn`t warn him.
