  • Deer oh deer

We visited the Grampians during our break ... along one of the dirt roads we came across a very young deer standing in the middle of the track ... it bolted off into the scrub and as we drove past I could see the flank of its mother amongst the foliage. Further down the road this male was just off to the side of the track ... he waited long enough so I could get a 'clear' shot of him before he too bolted.

They certainly don't hang around in the wild.

Plenty of deer farms in Tassie, I guess I could just hang over a fence to take a shot of one then pretend it was wild.
