Late Afternoon

We have had rain. Afternoon sun lighting up the countryside.

Lovely rolling scene Hans, and the light is just beautiful.

I see on the news tonight, there has been a bit too much rain for some, hopefully it dries out for them soon.

Yes lots of water making its way down rivers some places waiting to peak. It is still trickling out of our hills.

Lovely capture in the folds on the hills .... very green, as we are too .... more rain on the way

It is a scene from where I sit and play with the computer so watch the light during the year. Around this time of the year is best for getting some contrast in the folds This happens again in a few months time as the sun starts setting in the same area. More likely to be gold instead of green then. Blessed with some nice scenery. Cheers Hans

I'd be tempted to crop the little tree distractor at the top.

Did a similar picture about 12 go which I titled sensuous hills. Agree with the tree crop. I did see if I could make this work for the competition but I didn't like the look of it.

Thanks for reminding me. I have to judge the current challenge this weekend. So many different interpretations of selective colouring makes it very difficult. Still, I'll pick the one that tickles my fancy at the time and only a small amount of correspondence will be entered into. Haha

Maybe we could add a popular vote where people have to vote for at least one picture not their own. ??

Not a bad idea Hans but polls held in the past have not been supported too much - I don't know why though.
