Just a couple from the weekend just gone. Sadly a few clouds at the last minute obscured some of the stars.

Mmmm, memories of sitting around a campfire in my younger days, it makes me very nostalgic.

Thanks guys. Was actually out for a volunteer weekend with National Parks and didn't intend on taking any photos but a nice sky with a roaring fire is hard to resist.

That's blasphemy on a photography forum

            But we forgive you

Haha I know I know. I still packed the gear just in case though as I always do.

Lovely images, like Lloyd said, very nostalgic. We did that a lot back in the 60's. We'd all drive to nowhere and make camp. out came the guitar (and a couple of king browns) and it was a sing song to remember.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

That appears to be one large campfire (compared to what we used to burn) ..... very nostalgic indeed (70's for me). No guitars or singing around the campfire for us (trail bike riders) it was usually lots of laughing at the stories 'embellished' (depending on how much had been drunk by the story teller) by 20 something year olds about who/how/where someone eventually fell off a bike.

                  Great shots

                    Thanks again.
The fire was slightly oversized as our group was around 20 people and it was around 2C.
