A niece was married at a farm stay last weekend. While setting up for the reception this little guy was checking it out slithering across the dance floor. The groom chased it off - boy they can move fast.

What a beautiful creature. Shame they don't play well.

Looks like a brown tree snake. Poisonous yes but not deadly. Obviously good climbers. Can get fairly large too.

Yes definitely some sort of tree snake - thankfully didn't see any browns or more venomous snakes.

Yeh Green Tree Snake .. we get them in the bush land here and have seen a few when we walk the YAPS dogs which has mangroves on either side. Scared the bejebers out of me at first but once I found out they are harmless .. I'm not as freaked lol. Pretty little things though.
