Thanks Gabby we've had a rough couple of days and there's a bit of snow about now.. Might take a trip to the mountains Friday.

This Lady had her camera wrapped in plastic taking shots on the same day.

Like Gabby said - the lightning and wave action are eye catching

Maybe the rocks bottom right could be lightened a bit? (#1)

Not sure that I'd be out with my SLR in those conditions (#2) - but that 's how great images get made

Really like the second one too, some great colours in those rocks and shows an angry sea. Pity the splash wasn't totally in the shot and I think she is braver than I standing there with all that spray.

Certainly not tropical at the moment. Feb/March is normally the most stable, but the highlands can get snow at any time of year.

Definitely on our bucket list for next year. Finally our caravan is ready for collection - was supposed to be ready in March but has just arrived at the dealer in Caloundra. We're heading off to Croatia/Slovenia on Monday so won't be collecting it until our return in late June. Then it's look out Aus here we come.

Broome is definitely on our list too Mick. Not sure whether we will get to some of the more remote areas you are visiting in this trip.
