Next camp was on the floodplain of the Fortesque River just down the road a bit, the white gums went on forever. I'm about 2km from the road and its the same scene all the way, quite beautiful imo.

Snap pano from the iphone, it continues to impress, this is the road from Marble Bar to Nullagine.

Then the rain started! No more piccies to share at the moment but have some good shots of the white gums that will be processed later, can't use this lappy for processing, it's hopeless.

        Fantastic places Mick!

The river shot and the rock structure look like a fantastic spot to kill a glass of red.

And the light gum trees and the dark earth look amazing.

Hope you are having a ball!

        Good on Ya

        Eden

I want to stand as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all the kinds of things you can't see from the center.

          Beautiful country and tantalising photos.

I'm sure you wish you had some blue skies to compliment the reds, but they will come.

          Enjoy

Magical stuff Mick. You are doing it!!

Would be better if those abandoned vehicles weren't in the frame. Maybe next time.

            Whoops, I just realised..........

My indecision is final, I think.

Yes, the grey skies aren't helping but I might be back this way on my way home. Couple of spots already earmarked for return visit.

Looks amazing Mick and glad you are out there living your dream. Those white gums do look great and I'm looking forward to your processed images when you get back to civilisation.

                    Great pics Mick

We'll also be going down that road in Aug - Sept once we get there!!
Don't take any notice of the dero vehicles claims ... they're only jealous of your off-road rolls royce
