I'm sure I can't be the only one old enough to remember desks, bags, slates etc like these.

Remember desks like that and slates, but don't think the exercise books were that fancy when I was around.

Sure do... The hall was lined with bags and clothing and nothing ever stolen...Hmmm, I'm sure if ya looked carefully my name would be etched in a desk exactly like that.
Every morning we could hear all the other rooms going through the 'Times Table' as we did the same.
