  • Now there are two

Although the second is much smaller. Apparently the larger stack is 130m tall and the flame can reach up to 50 metres. The first ship has loaded now - a bit later than planned. These construction workers earn way too much money. Apparently they were offered a weeks pay as a bonus if they got ready to load the first ship on the 20th December. They decided 40 hours extra just wasn't worth it.

Must be standing room only now off the coast with all the ships queuing to be loaded....I'm sure those stacks burning have a purpose but it seems such a waste?

I imagine Fairway Buoy will be packed this year. I agree about the waste but as someone said, better to burn the gas off than risk blowing up billions of plant and equipment.
