Welcome to the forum Spiros. What a great series to start off with.
Absolutely beautiful portraits. And I must say that I completely disagree with some the previous comments. For me, #2 with the focus on the nose is a refreshingly different approach and works a treat. The other 'eye focused' shots are fine too. And while including a little environment in nature shots is commendable, your portraits just don't require it. I can appreciate what you were aiming for here.
Look, this is just my opinion. As you can see, others disagree, but that's OK. There is rarely any clear right and wrong in photography!
Note: I am usually always right! Good to keep that in mind.Charles
My indecision is final, I think.

You know I don't mind the nose shot w/out the eyes being in focus ... however one with focused eyes is also good.
If you ever get a chance to travel to Africa .. The Lion Park over there has an awesome volunteer thing going on. One girl I know volunteered there .. fed lion and hyena cubs that didn't have a mum. Amazing experience.Anna

thank you for the comments millcat, sejac and seaslug. i like the pics i posted they are some of my best ones. i mean i shoot all the time and get a few lucky shots that make the grade as i am getting back into photography from a absences of quite a numerous years. as for a bit of critisim i don't mind it at all i kinda like it so that way i can focus on the shots i like to shoot.
