  • Some of my wildlife pics

Hi all new to the forum but I am sharing some of my wildlife pics. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

Nice collection. I like #3 the best of these. I really like the idea of the close up #2 but for me I would have preferred you to focus on the eyes rather than the nose.

        Agree with PP.

Always nice to include a little of the environment with wildlife shots in my opinion. Just makes them a little less 'clinical'.

Welcome to the forum Spiros. What a great series to start off with.

Absolutely beautiful portraits. And I must say that I completely disagree with some the previous comments. For me, #2 with the focus on the nose is a refreshingly different approach and works a treat. The other 'eye focused' shots are fine too. And while including a little environment in nature shots is commendable, your portraits just don't require it. I can appreciate what you were aiming for here.

Look, this is just my opinion. As you can see, others disagree, but that's OK. There is rarely any clear right and wrong in photography!

Note: I am usually always right! Good to keep that in mind.

My indecision is final, I think.

You know I don't mind the nose shot w/out the eyes being in focus ... however one with focused eyes is also good.
If you ever get a chance to travel to Africa .. The Lion Park over there has an awesome volunteer thing going on. One girl I know volunteered there .. fed lion and hyena cubs that didn't have a mum. Amazing experience.
