Merry Christmas from the northern suburbs of Cairns. A shower in the morning and now overcast and warm. presents opened, kids satisfied.

Teens happy with their handmedown Galaxy tab2 and me n hubby happy with our new Galaxy Note tablets. Eve stoked Santa left her a pink Furby.

first time in three in years that I have been "home". But it's good to say dinner is with the X and family; kids appreciated it even though one is in Tassie and the Stumpy has his Bdouble back in Swan Hill (I think).
Would have loved to have stayed at the anabranch over night lol. Ended up with some good images from there and will post a few later.

The Anabranch was the original darling river until a new channel was cut to the east. I need to check my diary but I think it was that really wet season about 10,000 years ago
