  • Christmas in Copenhagen 2003.

    I know I've posted some of these before but maybe not everyone saw them.




    Shots taken in snowy misty conditions at around 6pm. (Gets dark around 3pm) In the Tivoli Gardens.

    Looks so magical. Instantly I thought of the song I remember from the movies I watched with dad when Danny Kaye played Hans Christian Andersen .. and he sang the song Wonderful Copenhagen. haha so I googled and found the youtube video of it and had a little sing lol. Amazing what triggers the memories of yesteryear. I can't remember anything about when I was younger but remember the movies I watched with dad and mum as a young girl and teen...

        Yes it's pretty catchy.

        Tivoli Gardens are definately worth a visit at Christmas time if you are in the area. I understand they are open all summer (also very pretty) then close in autumn and open again over the Christmas period.

          My Mum and Dad always commented how lovely the Tivoli Gardens were in the Summer of '87. So much more beautiful at Christmas.
