Are the 'walking poles' great to use (for lack of better words) and are they expensive?

Good set and looks like a beautiful area. Love the rock patterns. And, thanks you just reminded me of something I thought of getting after our last visits to various national parks - walking poles. My husband still has the agility of a mountain goat but me - I definitely would benefit from the extra support.Comment

Annoying isn't it Barb. I actually found one of the local camping shops here have some so have passed the suggestion on to youngest son who was asking what I wanted for Christmas.Comment

Very annoying Gabby, but partially my own fault for not 'making an effort' and partially arthritis in the knee .... never mind .... was thinking of the same thing, re poles, after seeing Jytte with hers ......... xmas present would be ideal.
