Alan's brilliant photos with the Coolpix prompted me to take the little Lumix compact for an outing today.

Some lovely clarity and dof here. Nice freezing of the wave in #3 - (maybe needs a white adjustment?)

I think #4, (rocks and wood) is my favourite - great textures and dof.

Thanks for the comments. (maybe needs a white adjustment?) Not sure how to do this, havn't come across that option yet with my wanderings through PS. (Trying to learn one new feature a week). Only have CS3 but having a bit of fun trying to work it out.

Some good shots, the wave and the sea snails for me. As for the white adjustment - I have a whites slider in ACR which allows me to increase the white but not sure about CS3, if not maybe adjust the levels
