    Barb, think you should be commended for really exploring various takes and compositions on this subject.
    You have strong details and large dof that captures what you could see clearly.

      Thanks Jo I used Aperture mode @ f4.5 and set the hyperfocal so it basically became a point and shoot exercise. I wanted to see what this camera (and I) could do with landscapes. Some photos worked and, of course, some didn't. The photos I do prefer are the ones that don't have a 'bright' foreground, so that probably comes down to exposure control. I usually shoot 'P', which is pretty good in that department. I am thinking of writing a 'dear Santa letter' ......... But ...... I love the 'convenience' of the FZ200.
