How close can you focus with your Lumix Barb? Are you using close up adapters diopters or just macro mode?
My little Lumix LX5 focusses down to 2cm with pretty good resolution. I'm pretty impressed with their performance in that mode. -
The above was shot with almost full zoom (553) ... standing 1.5- 2 mtrs away .... it has a 'good' crop .... macro mode ...... hand held (as are most of my photos) ..
I have a close up lens (with adaptor), but have only used sparingly .... if the wind stays away tomorrow shall try it out in the garden with tripod (now there are some flowers out).
