Not sure if you know anything about DOF [depth of field] This a good example of nearly not enough IMO

the red area is out focus. A slightly different angle (more the left) would used the DOF better .





The photos you put in the 'Bridges' and 'steps' are very good btw.

Thanks for 'enlightenment' Ian .... yeah it's only a narrow trunk on a potted plant .... should have moved myself further to the left ... was trying to dodge other branches and leaves ... will have another go at it later ...
