Oh yes I would have wanted to be there. I'm the guy who used to smuggle cameras onto roller coasters in the 1980s and take photos as we were upside down in the loops or descending the big drops and on more than one occasion I have taken photos from white water rafts as we have gone over waterfalls.

I loved all of these! Where was this because my niece is in the cadets and my brother is a CFA volunteer for Olinda. I wonder if they were there?

Probably. The event was in Kalorama but most of the local brigades (Kalorama, Olinda, Monbulk, Sassy/Ferny Creek, Emerald, Upwey, Emerald and Belgrave) were represented.

Co-incidentally I was taking photos of the junior fire fighter games just recently too! It was such fun to do.
What a great thing these kids are doing, makes you feel really good to see the juniors out doing something so positive.
