My new toy

I was very norty yesterday Ivan and I went to Dubbo he wanted to go to bunnings I thought to myself boring so asked him to drop me off at Harvey Normans it was on the way to Bunnings I had to go and look at the camera gear now didn't I ? As I was unable to get my P&S for my birthday I thought I would see what they had. I seen a few for $s I had and decided on the Nikon coolpix S9300 it is what it is P&S so now I am playing with it this is what I have taken so far

I like them Sandy. They are sharp and with good details. I like the warm colours in the chains and wood.

Thanks IP its not a bad little pocket Camera I took some of these with my Nikon D3100 and it was pretty close to what I got here so quiet happy with it

I used to resist having a P&S Sandy but since getting one I use it more than the DSLR! You'll get plenty of use out of it and it also puts a bit of fun back into your photography because it is just so easy and more importantly handy to use. Enjoy.

That is so True Lloyd I can pop it in my handbag or pocket and wham not missing out so much any more especially when you see something on a car trip

Nice shots - I agree it's handy to have a p&s. I walk my 2 dogs every morning and often see things I'd like a shot of. The dslr just too hard with the dogs.

I also use my compact more these days and I also take mine to the beach while walking my dog..so much less worry.

These wont be the type of shoots Ill be doing with my P&S but it will do me good esp on a road trip Ivan just might stop for a few moments now
