Today I experimented using 8 x 10 photographic papers (Ilford Multigrade IV) and exposed as negative. Setting the ISO to 6. EXIF 1 sec, F11.

This was just crudely taken to see whether it works. The paper negative was developed as per photographic paper (Deveoper 2 minutes, stop bath 1 minute and fixer 2 minutes).

The neg was scanned and inverted in PS. Looks promising to me. Not to mention much cheaper too. A quick check on ebay, a box of 50 sheets 8 x 10 neg will set me back $300 +.

Will post more when the weather stops chucking it down.

The weather cleared up a bit and been itching to go out all day to try out paper negs.

Well, here one with the two lifesavers at Sawtell Headland. They are my work colleagues too.

Made a mistake of too short developer time with the 1 st frame. Luckily, another extra couple of minutes with stronger developer gave me this 2nd neg.

I am chuffed with this. All comments welcome.

Well, 6 taken and 5 got binned. Joy of using films/negatives. I am glad this is the good one.
