  • Getting into the Swing of Things

People Photography seems to be another Forum that struggles for traffic

Here's a recent couple of pics of the grandkids enjoying a swing in the local park. D7000 with the Tamron 16-300mm

Damn good shots considering they are swinging, ( is that one of those ART type lenses that look all crisp round the eyes but give that smooth look to the outer areas?)

          or is it the processing,

          either way it works well!

I want to stand as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all the kinds of things you can't see from the center.

Don't you just love taking photos of the Grandies? Into the album with 1000's of others. We're a bit alike Alan. Wait till you get great grandchildren - it's pretty special.

Thanks Eden . It's the processing - selective Gaussian Blur. And yes, a bit hit and miss to get them in motion on a a swing - but better than trying for Birds in Flight

Thanks Mark. Omg, great grandies - I can wait a bit longer I think

              Cheers

                Great photos Alan.

Not as good but here's my attempt of something similar of my nephew in Mudgee.
