These are absolutely gorgeous Ronald.

Terrific variety of shots, poses, settings. The attention to details with composition is a lesson to us all. Your control of the backgrounds - some OOF, some not - is impressive.

The light is so bright behind your yogi that the floor is blown (not saying that as a negative...I really like the effect in this instance) and she is rimmed with a halo, yet you have the light perfectly lit on her.
Have I mentioned how cool I think your model is?

So to do something like this I metered for the ambient and placed a flash behind her and pointed towards me. then i just manually adjust the power of the flash so its not too overpowering. the glow around her is the result of being back lit - it is called a 'rim light'.

the yogis were awesome, they just got into the poses and held it there. we had many on lookers which for other may have made it really embarrassing.

Im glad I could help

To be honest I only use flickr as a image hosting service to post images to forums these days. Im pretty quite on most forums now too. The majority of images that go onto flickr will likely come here too
