This is my last week to kick myself into gear for wedding season. This will also be my first wedding season since I started taking photo's last year in September.

So, I wanted to make sure I have a fresh, clear mind for the coming months, and... well... I wanted to get out and about with a model.

nice Richie - only concern for me is #2 the branch running through her head is distracting for me, and I don't know that the blob on the left border in the last image adds to the composition.

Samantha and I were actually talking about playing a little game, to see how long it takes a photographer to mention that the branch in #2 is "distracting".

Yeh, "the blob" isn't that awesome in b/w ... but it's needed for the colour

It was the first thing I saw when I looked at that image Richie, but if you and your client like sticks poking out heads, peace an good will to you. I can't comment on the blob in colour as you didn't present the colour version, however I doubt it would make much difference in my mind.
