A few from over the weekend, conned the son into sitting for me. Only the 3rd or so time Ive done portrait work We were playing around with the umbrella and remote flash. Spare of the moment thing.

Love the laughing shot! Looks a bit soft but could be the iPad. No 1 could be bit brighter on the face, but the lighting in the others looks terrific. Love the half face framing and the sunnies shot too.

I like the 2nd and 3rd one down

Can do with a little black brush tool on 0% softness to get rid of the excess light on the dark side of his face (looking at the white reflection on his glasses).

thanks for the comments, its is very much appreciated. i used the tamron 18-200 for some of the shots and a canon 85mm for others. I should have stuck with the prime lens i think. some of the shots came out with a little too much noise, I use elements to edit with and still getting the jist of it all. next time i will try to set up better.
