This strange backyard visitor appeared yesterday afternoon, coincidently around the same time my wife came back from a shopping trip. It was another of my experimental setting shots

Even my pet duck got right up out of the way to check it out from a safe spot. I should have shot this one at above f2 rather than f1.4, the face is out of the "sharp zone".
