Angles

I like the triangles in this image. Composition isn't there Not simple enough? Too busy?

The shapes and colours of the leaves are strong and interesting but I think the mass of flowers draw your attention away from these and do make it a bit busy.

I think fewer flowers might work better, with the curves contrasting with the straight lines of the leaves better balancing them.

Cropping from the left to the second leaf might be better. A composition with just a couple of flowers included might be worth trying, if possible.

I was on my way out to have another go but noticed the rain waited I while and took a couple more as the flowers don't last very long. Camera is fine in the wet.

Still not happy but it can look better. I will have to keep looking. I'm sure there is a good one there.

Agreed! I had planned to focus stack as well but it was raining too hard for that. See what tomorrow brings.
