That does a good job but I will have to do this a few times before it will sink in enough to feel That I know what exactly is happening.

It's always good to learn at your own pace Hans and the more you do stuff the easier it becomes. When you get to the stage where you know how a tool works and what the results are from using them, then your workflow will become a lot easier. I started with Photoshop in 1992 and I'm still learning. Masks are just one of the tools but very useful and powerful. A simple black and white mask to hide or reveal parts of a layer is just the start. The masks can then be manipulated with Feathering, Blurring, Opacity, Fill and Blend Modes. It's fun and challenging learning and I'm always available to give you hand.
