Love the concept Phil. where is the path leading me, what exactly is around the corner.
For my part I feel that it is slightly over exposed, in particular the path seems somewhat blown out. Of course this is only my opinion. What, if any, "feeling" were you going for?

Agree. Like the concept but it looks a bit over exposed for my liking. I find the little branch to the left between the two corners visually annoying. I would probably try content aware delete in PS to at least see what it looks like without having the branch there. I think removing it would improve the eyes flow along the path which at the moment has a roadblock.

The image histogram shows good exposure Phil, just a minute amount of clipping in the red channel but nothing blown out. Lots of details in the shot. To me it just needs a bit of colour correction to get rid of the red cast. Do you have the exif data or the camera settings?

      Thanks fellas for your feedback

      okay -
      1) I keep forgetting that exif is stripped by flickr ... damn
      2) Isac - on my laptop, your image looks about 1-stop underexposed ~ mine is "maybe" a 1/3-stop overexposed but I did brighten it a tad to show the greens nicely
      3) K1W1 - yes I'll have a go with the chainsaw for that stick in the wrong place

      more to follow

Flickr has never stripped my exif data Phil.
This is from your Flickr image:

You are forgiven if you are using a laptop

      G'day fellas

Okay - i'll upload as an attachment so that you'll get the exif stuff as well
Chainsaw has been and gone, a bit of qwik 'n dirty tidying up ~ I wouldn't be employed as a housewife ~ and no added 1/3-stop for brightness, nor saturation for the greens

I don't see a lot wrong with the picture. I think it lacks a bit of impact by being a bit busy. What do you think of this?
