    Would you work this more?
Better a full bottle in front of me

Very bleak and gloomy image Hans, I really like it...................... Except for the dark area in the lower left of the image. Maybe just lift the shadows to give a hint of what we're not seeing.

May have to do it with a longer lens if it arises again. Almost has a sepia like quality to it.

Is the first image the original?

The one with the exposure data is the original in full glorious colour.

Do you mean the bright one in post #3?

This is a quick fix using Luminar-4. Could almost pass as a painting

That came out quite well Isac, but I still prefer the gloominess of Hans original. I really like it that you were able to recover some of the detail in the lower right of the image

It is surprising how much detail is still available. Quite different but I like the mood in latest thoughts. Maybe give the view through the trees a bit of brightness to draw you in more.

Thanks John. I liked the moodiness too but as I was wondering what was hidden in the shadows, I just had to give it a go.

Well done Hans, it seems to have reatained a fair bit of detail.

Yes not bad considering it is about 1/4 of the frame. I will put the 70-200 on next time.
    Working...
