  • Photobombed by a Whistling Kite

    G'day all

Doing some long-lens stuff over open plains, seeking to capture the heat haze rising off the paddocks, and I get bombed ... ah well the good ol' rubber-out-thingy comes in handy sometimes

    As always, feedback welcome

Some people go to a lot of trouble to put birds into their photographs!

Shows the heat haze well Phil, which is what your intention was. Just a bit of turn to the left and all will be good. A bit of saturation to the foreground to make it pop a bit.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

Jeez mate ... you like that steering wheel to the left bit ... I must tell the camera that it's got a wheel alignment problem

Sorry Phil, I know I'm always bumping my gums about horizons, but as photographers, whether amateur or professional, I think there are certain "rules" we should follow that showcases our work as being good examples for others to follow. Horizons are just one of those which I am passionate about and some with a higher degree of qualification than I, tend to agree. Mr Google agrees as well
